Not being able to trust messages from the supplier of the systems responsible for data integrity and availability is extremely alarming.

Hey folks,

We at TrueNAS have gotten in direct touch with Kyle (the author of the blog post) to follow up on the situation here. This definitely isn’t the standard support practice at TrueNAS, and isn’t something that we consider acceptable either. We’re doing an internal root-cause analysis and will take appropriate corrective measures.
