Hi,
It’d be helpful to be able to add more containers when creating an app from the forms. I understand there’s a compose web text editor but it’s very basic at the moment; I’d rather use the existing forms and be able to add containers to the stack. At the moment only one container is supported.
Problem/Justification
Current compose web-based text editor is very basic and make editing multi-containers stack quite a pain. The proposed alternative of using dockge or portainer is cumbersome as it adds another interface, doesn’t show container statistics in the truenas UI, etc.
Impact
Users would be able to create multi-containers compose stacks through the “Install iX App” form screen.
User Story
User clicks on Apps on the left menu and then navigates through the existing “Discover Apps” and “Custom App” buttons. She’s then shown a form with the following UI elements:
- Stack name
- Networks block
– Internal / External list + Name field
– “Add network” button - Containers block
– Container name field
– Existing container form
– “Add container” button
Thanks a lot!
