Binding WebGUI to DHCP Interface

Question-I did some reconfiguration of my TrueNAS Scale (25.04) network interfaces to get ready for IP assignments for APPs. I have 2 interfaces; one is set to static and the other is set to DHCP (both on the same subnet). I’m trying to bind the WebGUI to the DHCP interface but the drop-down doesn’t show that interface. Only the 0.0.0.0 and the static interface is selectable. Is that by design? I only want the DHCP interface accessible to the WebGUI.

Any thoughts?

I’m assuming you can’t bind the GUI to interfaces but IP’s, so if it’s DHCP and not assigned an IP/alias then you can’t bind to it
