So, I was having a look at the Broadcom 95XXi series cards which also supports U.2 and U.3 as well.
The cable with part number #05-60005-00 is x8 to 2xU.2 which is absolutely fine as each NVMe would get x4 lanes as the 95XXi series cards are 8 lanes per port if i’m not wrong.
However, the cable with the part number #05-60006-00 is x8 to 8xU.3 which means all the 8 NVMe would run at x1 lanes. This doesn’t make sense at all. Am I guessing it correct?
