Cannot restart NFS service. UI gets stuck on attempted restart. Can't mount NFS

I have a new truenas box:

Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2678 v3 @ 2.50GHz
128GB ECC RAM
6x Intel Ethernet ports
Truenas Core TrueNAS-13.0-U6.2

Everything was working fine since 2 months and one day the NFS just stopped.
NFS clients aren’t able to mount anyhing. the mount command on linux simply gets stuck (tried from 2 different servers).

The severs can “see” the mounts, when using the showmount command, but can’t mount anything. And everything was working fine until now.

Tried restarting NFS service, the UI element keeps “loading” and goes nowhere.
Rebooted the server a few times, nothing has made a difference. Even after reboot I can’t disable the NFS service.

Any ideas on what to do?

The nfs client ip in this case is 172.16.1.85
(truenas IP is 172.16.2.100)
