I have a Dataset that keeps on changing it’s Permissions, every couple of days I have to reflag the POSIX permission of the group Other. I want it to have Read, Write and Execute, but every now and then I cannot access this folder as the Access Control Entry Permissions for Other becames only Read while Write and Execute become unflagged.
Is there something I do wrong?
You could try turning all apps off for a few days to see if it still happens with them off.
If it doesn’t then you likely have an app that is doing it.
You can make this more targeted by only turning off apps that have access to the dataset in question, of course. Just make sure you don’t miss one.
well, those are 4, arr’s and qbit, but then why should they change permissions? Can’t get it!

It’s just an idea.
Something is continually changing the permissions and you want to figure out what it is.
exactly! I’ll give it a try, but my main suspect is Qbit…
