I have mapped drives to Truenas on my 3 PCs. Overnight or after a reboot, I lose the mappings and have to reconnect. What parameter have I overlooked? Thanks.
Do you have any power saving set for the TrueNAS drive or pool? That’s a guess, not sure if that is an issue or not. What options are you using? Win 11 screenshot
No power save settings. I have tried to use the WEB option mapping, IP address option and \\Truenas options and all react the same and will disconnect overnight. I have checked the box ‘reconnect at sign-in’ also.
Mapping example used:
\\192.168.1.222\files
\\Truenas\files
Try searching for how to clear Windows network drive mappings, reboot and then try adding them again if you haven’t.
I have my TrueNAS set to keep the drives as so. I don’t think I have trouble but I only lock the window and don’t sign in / out nor do reboots of the Win 11 machine unless there is an update or something.
