I am using a Asus Z390 m intel with two stick of 16gm memory 6 core processor. With IGPU Can’t remember what brand but they are non ecc. And the power supply is a cooler master sff
I have recently moved my sever into a jonsbo n4 case, however it keeps freezing and locking up after a couple of ours, I disabled the gpu pass through in plex. And is connected via ethernet connection to a non managed switch to a Wi-Fi repeater.
Not sure if its:
A bug in electric eel.
If I need to disable C state, but don’t want it using anymore power than it needs to.
Not sure if I need to change the idle power settings.
However, when it freezes the fans are still running, and it kicks me out of the web Gui. Its set to the latest bios 3006
And when checking the thermals via the bios they hover around 35-40 degrees.
I run two Seagate barracuda drives and smart test on them throws up no faults and x1 Kingston SSD.
As the mother board does not support USB C, So I have a PCIE to USBC adaptor plugged in and LSI card but its not currently in use as I have enough sata ports on the mother board.
Could it be that as the mother board was 2^(nd) hand and the memory was b grade that one or the other are on their way out.
Or could the SSD be on its way out but even on smart test no faults are shown. Not sure how long I have had the SSD for.
Still a newb to true nas so not sure where to look for any error logs etc.
