first post, firsttime truenas user…..
Just installed truenas on a Ugreen DXp6800pro (quite like UGOS, but it was to0 limiting), with 4HDD in Raid5 and 2 mirrored NVME SSD for apps and thumbs et
The NAS was purchased specifically to backup and replicate my small business sharepoint sites (we have around 1TB of data). BUT I can’t get CloudSyncs to connect to the sharepoint sites and i can’t work out why….
The problem is me! this is my first ever foray into Linux proper, and truenas is beyond my skills right now- I’m going to enjoy learning but i don’t have the time- our insurance requires us to backup our sharepoint data.
SO- do i try and figure out something like Veaam, RSync or similar, keeping working with Cloud Sync?
ideally we would pay someone to get this part of the nas up and running, and i’ll learn the proper skills over the coming months, but where do i look for someone with the right skills?
tldr- in over my head, need help finding someone to solve my immediate problem with sharepoint backups
