I am just starting with TrueNAS, coming from a Synology background, so I recently installed the latest Scale system (Goldeye). I am interested in installing a VPN server, and Wireguard seemed appropriate. However, putting on the latest WG-EASY has proven to be a challenge, and only sits and alternates between “Deploying” and “Stopped”. I am sure it’s a configuration issue, but I cannot find a good example of what needs to be filled in during the setup. My screen looks entirely different from other examples from earlier versions. Does anyone have an idea what I need to do in this case?

Your first step should be to take a look at the app lifecycle log from shell or ssh session.
sudo cat /var/log/app_lifecycle.log
That should give you a hint on why it fails
