Hi there, I have a TrueNAS Core server with 12 spinning rust drives, 2 x 2.5” SSDs for boot/OS, and 2 x RMS200 devices for my SLOG mirror.
Whilst there is no error whatsoever showing in the GUI, when I look at the command line on the console I get an error every 30 mins saying “smartd 3760 Device: /dev/nvme0", critical warning (0x04): Reliability”.
Now, clearly that’s none of the spinning rust, but I don’t know whether it’ll be the first OS disk or the first RMS200. The issue I have here is the OS disk is referred to as ada0 and the RMS is referred to as nvd0. i.e. neither of them are nvme0.
I think it’s 90% likely that it’s the first RMS200, but I’d like to be 100% sure before I go order parts etc, especially since how rare the RMS200 is these days.
Anyone know how to definitively tell?
