Install a new wifi card from USB or pool SMB drive

VERY new :slight_smile:

I am wanting to add a new wifi card to my new Trusnas Community setup. I downloaded the linux version and have placed the ucode files on a USB drive (root) but also placed them on one of the SMB drives if that would make it easier.

Can someone help a complete unix newby to get the drivers installed please. I am guessing I need to mount the usb? hence why I added it to an existing SMB storage drive to hopefully make it easier.

The wifi card is a Wavlink WL-WN675X3-C

Installing new drivers is not supported. You would have to enable devmode. That can break things and doesnt survive updates. There are currently also no wifi drivers pre installed.

Both installing drivers and wifi are not officially supported…
