I’m not sure where to start for help so asking here. I have Plex on my Truenas server and WAS using the Plex skill to play ONE audio file. The skill has been removed and is not available. We have a rainstorm audio track that we would play at night while sleeping. I am running into a wall trying to find a solution. Suggestions?
While not a wholly TrueNAS solution I have Home Assistant running in a VM (you can also do a docker container) that is triggered to okay rain at night for white noise while I sleep. You have to have Home Assistant use your smart speaker as a target to play the audio file. You can either upload the file into the Home Assistant media space to run locally or use a network share location where it exists on your NAS.

Look at MyMedia for Alexa: https://www.mymediaalexa.com/
It does have a cost but will play any of your audio tracks on Alexa. Might be a bit overkill for one track though
