Need help with GPU for MBD-X11SSL-F Board

I have an issue wit the VGA on my motherboard (Supermicro MBD-X11SSL-F) for my Truenas core Server that I built. I have to push the VGA cable up to be able to see the screen and when I let go it goes out. I tried reheating the solder joints to reseat them but not so well and it still does the same thing.
Could I put a simple GPU in that would take place of the on-board VGA? If so any suggetions? I currently use an older AOC monitoe with a VGA cable.

Specs
Motherboard - MBD-X111SSL-F
CPU - Intel Core i3-6100 3.70 GHz
RAM - Supermicro MEM-DR480L-HL01-ER21 8GB (x2)
Power - SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM
HDD - Segate Ironwolf NAS Drives 5900 RPM 64MB Cache (x5)

You probably can, though I run both my systems without a monitor 100% of the time.

Your board has IPMI, doesn’t it? Why not use that instead of the VGA port?
