I have this problem for a long time and hoped that it will dissappear but it isn’t.
The case is that I have a VLAN, made to be accessed by a friend of mine. After some time, maybe days or a week he can’t access the SMB share. I suppose this happens after some time of inactivity. When this occurs he usually call me and I ping him from the TrueNAS shell and the first packets are dropped and then ping start working. After this he is able to access the SMB share.
Not sure if someone else experienced the same problem but will be happy to find a solution.
P.S. I have this problem since Core and it remain after updated to Scale !
