I have installed ABS as a TrueNas application and have a problem searching for new Podcasts within ABS. Lets say I search for Podcasts containing “Fast”, ABS will return “nothing found”.
If I perform the same search on another ABS install running on a Proxmox server I get lots of results.
Checking the ABS log I can see it attempting to connect to itunes and is throwing a Error: connect ETIMEDOUT.
If I shell into the ABS container and run curl with the same URL ABS is using it works! (lots of results returned)
curl --verbose https://itunes.apple.com/search?term=fast&media=podcast&entity=podcast&country=jp
You could conclude that ABS itself is the problem, except the podcast search works on my proxmox instance.
A packet capture on my router shows ABS connecting to itunes, but sends a RST in response to the initial SYN ACK from itunes.
Curl handshake: SYN, SYN ACK, ACK, HELLO
ABS handshake: SYN, SYN ACK, RST
ABS will successfully download new episodes for podcasts already in the library. Its just the search that fails.
Any ideas on how to solve this would be appreciated.
