having installed TrueNAS to a fairly good hunk of hot metal, i have logged into (onto) the gooey, and am baffled by this entry under System Information. The system is “generic”. how do i change this to show the make and model of my server?

Branded TrueNAS hardware would indicate its model. Self-builds are all “Generic”.
