Yes.
So you can use Traefik with custom apps (raw compose/dockge/portainer etc), but then you have to manually edit the traefik config for any of the iX apps.
You are right of course…
It is my belief that having the most granular control is best… That is why I would just install dockge per your video and manually install my apps…

Yeah Caddy was trivial to use on Eel as a custom app. Change the Truenas http ports to high numbers, use caddy at the regular ports, and no issue talking to any of my other 23 apps. So easy and fast.
I had to put caddy in jail.
