NUT Slave ERR ACCESS-DENIED

Has anyone set up TrueNAS Scale 24.10 to be a NUT Slave to a NUT Master running as a Home Assistant Addon?
I configured TrueNAS with the same information as WinNUT client but TrueNAS is tossing ERR ACCESS-DENIED in syslog and not showing stats in reporting.

Hopefully someone else has run into this and has some suggestions. See screenshots below for configuration and error messages.

For future searchers: The resolution was creating a second user on the NUT server with the upsmon: slave attribute.
