I recently took the plunge and upgraded my TrueNAS box from core 13.0-U6.7 to 13.3-U1.1. Everything went well. Before the upgrade, I was using the built-in OpenVPN Server service configured with local CA and certificates and it was working. After the upgrade, the service fails to start. I have not been able to determine the cause. Console messages and pop-ups only show that the service failed to start, not why.
I am unsure how to troubleshoot this issue. Do I need to SSH in to view log files? I am still adjusting to the loss of the web shell interface.
Should I recreate my CA and certificates?
Have searched the forums, but haven’t found any mention of this specific problem.
