I’ve been using this snapshot setup for about 2 years now, and until recently, it was working fine.
However this morning i noticed that all snapshots stopped at 7th January. After that there is no new snapshots, and they’re all in PENDING state.
I’ve not renamed them or changed config - so where would I look for clues?
I did have a power outage and needed server BIOS resetting on 7th January !
I looked in zettarepl.log but that seems to be log for replication tasks rather than snapshots. Where would I look next?
I just noticed that zfs history stops directly after I powered up my server after the power outage… and for some reason, some of the logs claim it was 2025-07-02 rather than 2025-02-07. Could it be connected to the power outage and me having to reset the BIOS?
