Plex link to libraries

Help Please…
I am setting up a new Plex media server and can’t figure out the folder links.
I looked at my last server but this one is giving me a headache.
And I can browse to the folder on file explorer so they are there and permissions look right.

On Server end my username has full admin, SMB and webshare access.
Server link on Plex app-

Movies-

And tvshows are same just /mnt/TV-Shows/TV-SHOWS
Datasets-

But in plex-
I manually type-

And it finds nothing.
When I browse I click on all of them and can’t find the movie folder.

Can anyone point me to the right spot please.

it should look like this

And when you add the library in plex you just choose the folder movies that gets created

Ok so I configured mine as close to your picture. But I don’t have a Mount path option for my movies drive.

My tv-shows pool I put in as additional storage that has a mount path.

And in the plex app just choose. so /mnt/movies or /mnt/TV-Shows ?

you have to choose additional storage not plex data storage

I did..

So your top configuration has “Host Path” (Where Plex itself is stored) as ‘/Movies/Movie’ - this could be fine, but likely not ideal.

You then have ‘TV-Shows’ correctly added as “additional storage” - that is good.

Go to additional storage & click ‘Add’

Then do Host Path:

You’ll then have TWO additional paths - One for TV-Shows, the other Movies/Movie.

It’ll look something like this:

(Check READ ONLY as you see fit)

Ok.
I adjusted storage as suggested.

And TV is now-

And movie-

but when I go to plex app- both tv and movies

and

I’m really confused as I duplicated my other (older) plex that works fine but my new unit I can only see in windows.

Uhh - donno, try without ‘Enable ACL’? Otherwise I’m going to have to guess it is a permissions issue. You previously had movies working when you didn’t enable ACL
