RMA of mirrored vdev disk with encrypted pools/datasets?

I just resilvered a failing drive. The drive was part of a 4 disk mirrored vdev. All pools/datasets on vdev are encrypted with passphrase. While not optimal, is it safe to assume that sending the drive in for RMA without a proper wipe and just a quick wipe for good measure is OK since all of the pools/datasets were encrypted?

Yes.
