I am having issues setting up users, I am on TrueNAS Core 13.3. I set up an admin and a few users and none of them can log into the WebUI. Oddly though the admin I created was able to login via putty over SSH. Single admin is in the Wheel group.
On core only root has access to the webui.
On scale you can give uses access rights to the webui.

What exactly are you trying to achieve here?
ah that does explain it, was trying to get plex setup and from what i’ve read the plugin doesnt work anymore and so I went to install it via shell, realized they took shell out of the web ui, so i ssh’d in but the admin couldn’t do it cause it didn’t have root access and the root couldn’t ssh in.
At this point, if you want anything apps-like, you really should move to SCALE. If you want to stay on CORE, you’d need to install it in a jail. Here’s my script to do that:
