Saving the system by changing the boot-pool

Hello,

After a LOT of work and a lot of problems, I managed now to get by system back working.

I updated from FreeNAS to TrueNAS-13.0-U6.7 and got my data back.
Now the problem is, that after a few hours the 2 ssd’s of the boot-pool die. So I get after a few minutes the error
“CRITICAL
Boot pool status is DEGRADED: One or more devices are faulted in response to persistent errors. Sufficient replicas exist for the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state…”
And after some hours, the second is also gone, so the NAS is down.

So now, I want to replace the 2 nMVE SSD’s with 2 normal SATA III SSD’s.

What’s the best (easiest and fastest) way for this?

There is 1 problem, the actual SSD’s have like 230GB and the new will have 120GB.

I hope that i will be possible to get this working…

Roy

Make a backup of the config file.
Reinstall TN on the new SSD’s
Upload the config file
