Search users & groups by any letter in the ACL List

Problem/Justification
(What is the problem you are trying to solve with this feature/improvement or why should it be considered?)
I want to search for users in the ACL menu, but i’m unable to do that. It would be rally easy to search from any letter and if the matching suggestions come up we just have to pick and apply a user or a group rather than typing the whole name into the field.

Impact
(How is this feature going to impact all TrueNAS users? What are the benefits and advantages? Are there disadvantages?)
This would impact all admins, especially the ones in large organizations with many users when applying ACL

User Story
(Please give a short description on how you envision some user taking advantage of this feature, what are the steps a user will follow to accomplish it)
To accomplish it by basically searching for the user in the search bar

Unless you’re using AD / LDAP and have turned off user and group caching, then the dropdown should include auto-complete options.

Thanks for the reply,
However I want to search for the AD users

Yes, and it should work as long as the cache is filled.

Unfortunately it doesn’t. Mind you, it works at the owner filed but not in the user search field. However in both fields I can’t search for the user from any letter. ie: Assume there’s a user named ADFT20. I can’t use 20 to search for this user. As all of the users in our organization have a unique number it’s easy if there was an option to do so.
Thanks
