Should Disk sdb replaced or not?

Hello everyone, sometimes I get an “ALERT” by email that a disk is having problems.new alerts:

  • Device: /dev/sdb [SAT], 2143 Offline uncorrectable sectors.
    Current alerts:
  • Device: /dev/sdb [SAT], 85 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors.
  • Device: /dev/sdb [SAT], 2143 Offline uncorrectable sectors.
But in the TN Scale GUI 25.04.1 - Storage Dashboard there are no errors !
Is this an “error” that you can live with, or does this disk have to be replaced?
    Many thanks for your help!

Especially since you only have RAIDZ1, make a backup immediately and get a replacement. Even with a new disk, given the high risk of its “infant death”, stay vigilant.

All this assuming that your data is important to you.

Follow the chart if you want the details:

But the short answer is that the drive that was /dev/sdb when the alerts arised is not healthy.
