Now that my new build is finally working the way I want, I can show it off:
There’s an ITX SuperMicro X11SDV-4C-TLN2F motherboard in the IBM 5150 case, whose expansion slot holds a LSI SAS 9305-16e in IT mode.
The two towers holding up the shelf each house an Adaptec 82885T connected to eight 4TB SAS drives in RAID-Z3.
The two VDEVs are configured in a single pool, and it’s fast enough to saturate a 10Gbit network connection.
Very cool cases
But probably the best part are your mice. Got an instant early 2000 flashback.
Funny, the logo on the tower looks like SUP BRO
That’s the most beige I have seen in a long time!
