My NAS is not reachable anymore. Apparantly I left my recording running and it filled 100 %, at least thats my only explanation. This is likely due to the issue of having to clean the recycle bin manually each time using a script because it will not free the space when just deleting a file but puts it into a hidden folder. Now my system is stuck but truenas is still reachable. Just the SMB cannot be enabled anymore.
How do I unstuck this? I cannot access any files which would likely resolve the problem. Is there any way to read the data without SMB? I could in worst case put the SSD into another system to boot it but I don’t know what program can read the ZFS drive.
My system is a 5600G, 80 GB RAM with a 250 GB 960 EVO boot drive, 2 TB 970 EVO and 6 TB HDD for NAS. My truenas runs on a proxmox host but thahis drive is a shared cache for downloads and recordings of all types.t should not be related to the issue. The issue is the full drive not being accessible anymore.
Any ideas would be appreciated. I would ideally like to retain my data. Somehow the NFS share seems to work but I cannot get it connected on the Linux system, either my syntax is wrong or it simply does not accept the space in the name “Network Cache”. As the name suggests, its a shared download and recording cache between my systems.
