I’ve been running SCALE with a migration from CORE for years now and my current configuration leverages a UPS with an SNMP card configured that TrueNAS talks to for status. This has worked without issues until upgrading to Electric EEL release and now I am getting on a regular basis the following alerts:
New alerts:
Communication with UPS APCUPS lost.
UPS Statistics: 'APCUPS'
Statistics recovered:
1) Battery charge (percent)
battery.charge: 100
2) Battery runtime (seconds)
battery.runtime: 2904
3) Battery runtime remaining (seconds) when UPS switches to Low Battery (LB)
battery.runtime.low: 120
Current alerts:
Communication with UPS APCUPS lost.
UPS Statistics: 'APCUPS'
Statistics recovered:
1) Battery charge (percent)
battery.charge: 100
2) Battery runtime (seconds)
battery.runtime: 2904
3) Battery runtime remaining (seconds) when UPS switches to Low Battery (LB)
battery.runtime.low: 120
Nothing in my configuration changed except for upgrading to Electric EEL release so I am not sure if this is a bug or do I need to tweak my configuration now. I use NUT on other servers and configured it nearly the same way to address the various SNMP based UPS units I am using. No other SNMP based NUT clients are having this issue with this UPS or even others so I am a little perplexed.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
