Hello all,

I have not found the answer and I need your help :wink:

Quickly, my company changed some servers and I got an old one (DL360 Gen8) with a RAID Card for my home and I created a RAID 6 array at first.

Then I created an Home Assistant VM (my old dedicated PC asHD issues) and wanted to create a TN VM around 3Tb…

I saw many things about passthrough but I want to add only part of the global pool and don’t know how to do that.

Could you please help me ?

Hard stop here. Truenas simply doesn’t play well with virtual disks. You should really pass through a dedicated disk controller ( lsi hbas are preferred) and connect the disks to the controller

I was afraid of that and will look sadly another tool :sob:
