Hi everyone,
I’ve been having an issue with my TrueNAS SCALE system that has persisted since version 24.04 and still exists on 25.10.0.
System details:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (8-Core)

Memory: 63 GiB (non-ECC)

Apps: ~15

VMs: 2
Problem description:
Most of the time, the system runs perfectly fine. However, whenever I try to install a new app or create a new VM, the entire TrueNAS system seems to freeze for several minutes.
During this time:

I can’t access any running apps or VMs (for example, Home Assistant).

My external uptime monitor (Uptime Kuma running on another machine) reports downtime for all my services like Pi-hole and Home Assistant.
After about 5 minutes, everything comes back online as if nothing happened.
The same thing sometimes happens when I update Home Assistant (VM) or update existing apps.
Has anyone else experienced similar behavior or found a cause for this?
Any suggestions on what to check (logs, resource usage, etc.) would be appreciated.
