TrueNAS 25.10.6 is Now Available

It would help if you posted a link to JIRA on what you are referencing. This thread was started by a member of TrueNAS_staff so it is an official release. It also shows up as an Update on the General Availability train.

No.. 25.10.6 is released.

Jira is “eventually consistent”…

This is from now

I’ll get that corrected, thanks for highlighting.

Anecdotally, I’ve noticed a similar CPU increase. According to htop, it seems like netdata is using more CPU time than I’m used to, though I don’t have a 25.10.5 box around anymore to compare (and don’t really have a convenient time to roll back to an old boot environment for such a small thing).

Another uneventful update. Thank you!

I’ve updated my system and it seems great one thing if in the next update release gets fixed it would be a blessing which is as follows

as a person running trueness in a vm on proxmox the whether I add passthrough drives vdrives when I try to add or make a pool using those added drives I always get that error message

Error: topology

Disks have duplicate serial numbers: None (sda, sdb, sdc, sdd, sdf, sdg, sdh, sdi, sdj).

and so I found that it can be solved by changing the serial and name of each disk from the proxmox terminal but if u guys can address the issue in the next update that would be amazing and really appreciated from most homelabers

You should be passing through the HBA to which the drives are attached, not vdrives from Proxmox.

If you search the forums for your duplicate serial numbers issue you will find out you are running an ‘unsupported’ configuration. @etorix is saying you should be running your server like it is a production machine.

If Proxmox is supplying the serial numbers, I don’t see how this would be an issue to be fixed by TrueNAS, either. Check to see if there is an option on Proxmox to create the drives with unique serial numbers instead of having to manually change them.
