Ok iv been trawling the forums for a while now and keep seeing this question but no definitive answer so i thought id try asking and trying out peoples suggestions before decommissioning my old set up.
I basically want to add an older larger netgear nas (Now running truenas with 20 x 10tb drives) to proxmox
I want to be able to run all my vms in proxmox which is clustered for fail over but have say jellyfin use Truenas storage, run proxmox backup server, access my files on truenas for my work etc.
There must be an simple way to link these two software’s by now without putting truenas in a vm (which i currently am running)
hopefully that all makes sense and we can come up with something i don’t mind testing, formatting and starting again for different set ups best way to learn
