We have been using a 12x18TB Z2 running 23.10.2 (server1) for a couple months to great success. We have recently deployed a second 12x18TB Z2 running 24.04.1.1 (server2) but I am having an issue mounting the new server on Windows machines.
The server1 lives at x.x.20.25/24 and server2 at x.x.20.26/24. When I attempt to mount the second server from just the IP I get an error that I lack permissions to access the server; if I attempt to mount a dataset on the server I receive an error that the dataset is already mapped using a different user (it isn’t). Server1 is mapped using the same credentials that I am trying to use to map server2, could that be it?
I am able to access both web GUIs for both server1 and server2 without issue, I just can’t mount and access the media on server2. I’m really at a loss for what the issue could be, any assistance is greatly appreciated
