Unexpected network activity

I set up TrueNAS this morning. And I configured it to serve as a stand-alone Time Machine backup for one MacBook I have. However, when the MacBook is NOT backing up, I’m hearing a lot of disk activity (6x 12TB drives as RAIDZ2) and seeing a surprising amount of network activity. I’d like to see which process is doing the networking (and the disk activity), but “iftop” and “nethogs” are not available nor installable.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,
Richard
PS: I tried to include the graphic of a dashboard network activity… but it won’t let me. Guess I’m too new.

A bit more that would have been obvious if I could paste the graphic… The network activity is primarily “out” activity of hundreds of Mb/s for many minutes.
