A while ago I posted on draid vs raidz2, I ended up doing a bunch of test and taking feed back etc, ended up on 7x raidz2, finally got around to putting in production and needless to say the results are impressive. I am very happy with the turn out. Prepping for a possible datacenter move and replicating all the VM’s to this box as a failsafe for the physical equipment move, after that it’ll become the primary storage for our tier 2 and replication from clients.
