Verifying Data Migration

I recently went through a (for me laborious as I’m new to Linux/ZFS) process to migrate my data off a mirrored pair of HDDs initial_pool into a RaidZ2 (4x14) data pool data and a mirrored SSD app pool app_pool.

I think I’ve gotten everything moved properly and I just want to verify that the old mirrored HDD initial_pool is no longer being used.

What is the cleanest way I can offline the initial_pool without losing data (in case I need to bring it back and fix/re-do a migration step)? I’d prefer something through the GUI as I’m not entirely comfortable with the CLI yet. Worst case I plan to just open the machine and pull the sata connections from the drives, but it’s not always fun to pull everything apart physically.

I’m currently running Scale TrueNAS-24.10.2

I do see the “Disconnect” button on the Storage page, but am not sure what the process would be to bring it back. I’m asking here as half the time I’ve looked in the help docs, I’m finding them to be outdated a few versions so I can’t trust them.
