What profile am I actually running here?

I recently installed TrueNAS community for the first time, and I’m wondering if I need to make a choice on the update screen showing:

Update Profile

Current Profile:

MISSION_CRITICAL

Select an update profile

Selecting an update profile allows users to choose how conservative the software selection is based on their use case. Descriptions of update profiles are listed below from least conservative to most conservative.

Available Profiles

Developer

Developer software with new features and bugs alike. Allows users to contribute directly to the development process.

Early Adopter

Pre-release access to new features and functionality of TrueNAS software. Some issues may need workarounds, bug reports or patience.

General(Default)

Field tested software with mature features. Few issues are expected.

My understanding is that MISSION_CRITICAL isn’t available for Community, yet that seems to be the selected profile. Its not in the list of profiles or the selection dropdown, so will this affect updates going forwards?

Do I leave it as-is? Are there any benefits to being on mission critical on community?

Which version did you install? There was once a mission critical update profile available for the community.
But i believe with 25.10 the profiles were overhauled and the current ones are developer, early adopter or general. I would change it to general, that way you only get notifications if an update is deemed ready for production and enterprise users (this was previously called mission critical).
If you’re ok with being offered release candidates or rc versions that are not yet promoted to general then choose early adopter.

I’m pretty sure I installed 25.10.3 (Definitly a 25.10.x) as I did it middle of June and the newest version only came out after I had done that.

Thanks for the advice Ill switch over to the General profile now.
