Good morning, guys. I recently purchased a used X11SPI-TF motherboard to build my upcoming TrueNas Scale server. It currently has an Intel Xeon Gold 6230 processor. For RAM, I selected part #MEM-DR432LC-ER29 from the tested memory list. On Amazon, I found OWC brand RAM that indicated it could be used as a replacement.
I purchased four modules of this RAM. Well, when I try to boot, the system gets stuck on error B7. I’ve tried everything, from updating the BIOS to support second-generation Xeon processors to resetting the CMOS as indicated in the manual and testing memory bank by bank.
Am I doing something wrong? Did I select the wrong RAM?
Maybe someone with more experience has already been through the same thing and can help me.
Thank you in advance for your help.
