I use force user/group and other permissions based auxillary parameters mentioned for all my shares. Would be lovely to have them in UI because editing through CLI is a PITA. Shouldn’t be a problem to have them in GUI from my point of view, as they don’t really have a potential to damage data.

Actually the situation is even worse. iX eliminated the CLI since SCALE 25.04 and hides the API through obscurity.

That’s not exactly true: you can still call cli, but editing auxsmbconf is now only supported for LEGACY_SHARE, which AFAIK you can no longer create. So yeah, even more the reason to add these options. Myself I use these options for my shares, which are almost the same as the ones in the head post…
