Clean install of 24.10.0 results in "cannot import ‘boot-pool’ : no such pool available"

I totally get what you are saying but its clearly not working. Heres my scenario:

I had SCALE 24.04.* installed onto the ONLY 2 SSDs in my 740xd. Both of those disks were in a pool together as I had selected both of them for the target to install SCALE when I first installed 24.04.

I ran 24.04 for a few weeks, and then when I saw 24.10.0 had been release as GA, I decided to do a clean install. I mounted the .ISO and did the install. The Installer saw the only 2 SSDs and I selected both of them for the install, just as I had done with 24.04 weeks prior. That seemed to have went fine with no errors. I rebooted the machine and GRUB came up, and booted but I was presented with error as described in the first post (cant import boot-pool).

It did not wipe the labels from the 2 SSDs I was using for 24.04. I COULD NOT get 24.10.0 to install and work correctly until I did the blkdiscard solution mentioned above.
