Electric Eel includes Docker, and Docker Compose is used to power the apps The apps screen displays IX managed stacks. It would be helpful to also view non-IX managed stacks, and non stack containers. They could be displayed with generic icons, and the Details information could show generic information. docker has a property on all stacks which defines their stack, and containers without this property are not stacks. This would allow a user to understand what containers and stacks are runni…

What would you recommend as a method to install Dockge under EE that would be reasonably future-proof? I guess it could be its own custom compose app, and then point it to a suitable directory (dataset, maybe?) for the remaining stacks/projects?
Install Dockge from the apps store. Use a “stacks” and a “dockge” dataset host path. Although you could use ix-volume for the dockge dataset.
The stacks dataset is then your “compose” directory which can be backed up/replicated/migrated/relocated etc
