Yes.
If you have the system dataset on the boot pool it can cause more wear on the boot pool, but this is not such a concern now that scale causes a lot more wear on the boot pool because it logs to the boot pool.
Additionally, if your boot pool fails you’ll lose the system dataset.
Which is not the end of the world.
