NVIDIA Quadro P400

no, I have VMs on a RAID-Z1 with HD Sas that manages the Raid and a controller

Hi, I have a fairly similar problem - I wasn’t sure if I should make my own post or not. I’m running ElectricEel-24.10.2 and after upgrading from 23 I haven’t been able to get my P400 to passthrough to the apps I’m running (I’m not running any VMs). Running nvidia-smi shows the P400 (and no processes) and lspci shows “01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GP107GL [Quadro P400] (rev a1)”. I’ve updated the BIOS settings so only the integrated graphics are running (and verified this with a monitor) but lspci still shows the VGA message. I also cannot see the GPU in settings > advanced settings > isolate GPU or in the edit menu of the apps. I have checked the Install Nvidia drivers and rebooted (several times). I also found that there isn’t a /var/log/nvidia-installer.log log file, but that may just have been a AI chatbot hallucination - I’m not really sure that file should have been there.

Update: I’m seeing the option to add the GPU to the app, but nothing in settings > advanced settings > isolate gpus. When I check the box to add the GPU it errors out; I think the error message indicates that the UUID was not passed in the GPU object correctly? I’m not sure. When I click the question mark next the the GPU in the app configuration it provides the correct UUID.
