[image] TrueNAS 25.10-RC.1 is Now Available! Calling all Proxmox users. I’d like to get some more people beta testing the new TrueNAS over iSCSI native storage plugin for Proxmox. GitHub - boomshankerx/proxmox-truenas: TrueNAS over iSCSI for Proxmox VE If you are running Proxmox and TrueNAS 25.…

There’s a good configuration guide ready for testers. [image] Configuration Guide TrueNAS over iSCSI for Proxmox VE. Contribute to boomshankerx/proxmox-truenas development by creating an account on GitHub. Thanks @BooMShanKerX

Thanks for the great work. I will definitely have a look at this. Will test this soon.

Does this only work with single-controller installations of TrueNAS, or will it work with HA installations? I ask because we are looking at an M-series appliance and would love to use this.

Beta testing is mentioned in the first post. I would not expect it to hit Enterprise for quite a while. No HA. If you are just Beta testing, you can give feedback, etc.

I only ask because while talking with a TrueNAS sales rep yesterday, he did mention the plugin and didn’t say anything about it not working in HA.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. As far as i understand how truenas handles HA, there’s only one controller unit active at a time and if it fails the backup takes over. If smb/nfs/iscsi shares fail over in this case i don’t see a reason it shouldn’t work…

You’re pretty early in the adoption cycle, but yes - we anticipate this will work with HA installations using ALUA failover for iSCSI.
