Hey, I just did this due to restructuring my networks and feel i should share my solution. Nothing ground-breaking and you do require physical access:
- I had set my computer’s ip to a static address that within the allowed ips or one of the allowed ips and connect it directly the truenas box.
Of course this can only be done during downtime in case of emergencies and for further context, I have a separate management interface.
