This thing runs a shared time machine backup server for 15 people with Macs and barely sweats. Energy consumption clocks in at < 60W with four disk drives up and spinning in the “lowest power without actually sleeping” setting. Easily saturates the Gigabit network link for reading.

What would you put together for a replacement for the TrueNAS Mini line? There are very few choices for motherboards that size, low power (That Atom is 25w TDP), ECC and all those SATA ports. These are server models and have longer life than consumer models
