TrueNAS Scale on Arm (2024 Thread)

This is not a price issue, and this kit will NOT get anything rolling.

It is a customer demand issue. PAYING customers demand.
iX will dedicate resources to porting on ARM when enough customers will demand TrueNAS Enterprise on ARM—and when this would not even cannibalise their sales on x86. If ARM keeps increasing its market share in servers, this will happen, someday.

For now downsize the lab. Consolidate servers on newer hardware. Use less drives, but larger ones.

What are your needs?
For storage, a X10SDV-xx-7TPnF, as suggested by @Constantin can do a lot—plus extra apps if you go higher than two cores. But it’s not mini-ITX.
If you want mini-ITX, A2SDi-H boards have 12 SATA ports, and 10G as well. Sip power.
