Unreadable offline sectors across all drives, advice for novice

Several other similar reports of occasional errors moving from one drive to another have been diagnosed as a power supply problem.

It’s unusual for a power supply to cause a pending sector, unrecoverable error, although I guess it’s possible.

These are SMART errors and normally indicate failing media.

The ideal thing is to check the smart reports for the drives and see which actually have the error, and then consider replacing.

Good news is with raidz2 to suffer data loss the failing pending sector more or less has to be in the same location in 3 different drives at the same time. Sort of.

From what I saw, only sdj (ZX21T9CE) has uncorrectable sectors. Would suggest supplying smart results for the other drives

And there is no vast panic. Your data is pretty safe, but that drive is probably failing. And has two sectors which suffered bitrot. They may not have been in use, which is why zfs didn’t notice.
